    Losa Meeting Question..

I was wondering if anyone with LOSA ties that posts here could answer this question.. If the flow goes down after this rain event will the DSR be open to the Public Sunday or just LOSA seminar participants, and if it is open, where (which pools, runs) would be taken up by these seminars?? I copyed the below from LOSA's site and bolded the part in question..

    How it will Work:

The process for the participants will start with Pre-Registration. Once completed each participant will be put on a list. The list will allow seminar officials to track station size and plan for equipment needs. This will also ensure that a free pass is reserved for the participant. Each participant will be notified to confirm registration.
Once the registration deadline or roster limit has been met, pre-registration will be halted. This will give officials time to solicit accurate equipment and service needs.
On the morning of the seminar (9/12/04), participants will arrive at the Douglaston Salmon Run. Plan to arrive between 6:00 and 6:30 AM--OR EARLIER. Here, each “Pre-Registered” participant will receive his/her free access permit and will be invited to mingle in the lot. Please DO NOT suit-up or prepare any tackle.
At about 6:30, the entire group will be centralized for a presentation on common rules and topics. These will include, but are not limited to, safety, regulations, river lore, ethics, LOSA history and the DSR.
After these topics have been addressed the group will break into their respective stations. At this time participants will suit-up and uncase their rods, and head to the river. The station instructors will greet the participants on the lower river. This area of the river will be set-aside for the day exclusively for the use of the seminar participants.
Seminar officials will validate participant passes once the individual station seminars are underway. This will be necessary in order for each participant to be permitted free access to the rest of the DSR.
At approximately noon we will ask that the entire group reconvene in the lot..

    Thanks for any responses CB1.........

    DSR Sunday

It will be open to the public(if the water comes down). Some portion of the lower DSR will be reserved for the Seminar.

    Good Luck

Get your facts straight-----it was a FREE seminar that the DSR was hosting for LOSA. It was cancled due to the variable water conditions 1000+ at least. The terrible people at the DSR were even going to let the people fish for the rest of the day.

Relax a bit ec, He was commenting on your incorrect statement not your freedom of expression. There is a difference between an opinion (that you don't like DSR) and misinformation about LOSA and their use of DSR.
What the... what the H*ll are you doing? Why?

Gotta agree with Beards on this one. LOSA is completely different than DSR. We should support them. Whether you like the DSR or not.

    Keep it tame

OK fellas... its one thing to differ on opinions, its quite another to defame each other. Keep it tame.
