looking for a new float rod for salmon and came across a G LOOMIS Roaringriver Dredger 13'6 8/9wt wondering how this would hold up on the salmon river. alsoi came across a Cortland Fly Rod 13ft CL 9/10 Spey Rod both withing my price range.

I just found out they increased the price to $100. What a blow hole. Looks like i will not be pushing the new 3 power to the limit on sharks. They finally realized that way too many rods where coming back.

I have a gloomis STFR1363S float rod that I would like to trade for a centerpin reel. Rod has all paper work to vailidate the lifetime warranty. I'm looking for an islander or kingpin reel, but another of equal value may work as well.

Here are a few shots of an Imperial on an old school rod, and the results of a couple hours fishing. Lots of new details on this reel, and the absolute smoothest bearings of any reel I've ever fished!

i plan on float fishin a nearby creek for walleye. any tips on size floats or any types of jigs to try. creek varies in depth and we catch them casting lures in anywhere from 3-15ft deep water but so many snaggs that float fishin in easier.
