PBS at odd times 10-years ago...especially on weekends. Kind of like a combination of Home Improvement, Benny Hill and a red neck version of Newhart comedy show.
Red was know as the king of being a handyman and his "secret weapon" was duct tape. First show we ever watched...kind of found it by accident...he built a guys combo living room easy chair / beer refrigeration system out of an old toilet and duct tape. The wife even liked it!!! I think it was broadcast out of northern Minnesota or even Canada.
MBS...still on PBS??? What time???

I did watch the movie, and I had a tape or 2 with a bunch of episodes. Red is the MAN when it comes to building things with duct tape. Some of them beater cars he ''Modified'' were some real gems too. Just Remember,,,, If the women don't find you handsome, they'll at least find you Handy!! Keep yer stick on the Ice.

Red is/was a Canadian product who still shows up on CBC, I believe on early Saturday evenings before Hockey Night in Canada.

Red is still passing along outside the box uses for duck tape on local PBS station in PA. I don't know if it's in syndication since it's on Friday night and I seldom see it.

Best self-improvement show on TV. Expands your horizons with tips on converting old junk into useful work saving machinery. How to avoid nuisense household chores. And other useful things like how to make the most of water polution and other environmental hazzards.
