Can anyone point me in the right direction?? on the salmon river where can someone take there young son and fish from shore without waders.....9yrs old is a little young for waders in my book and I just was looking for somewhere i could take him tomorrow so he could get a line wet...We are going with a guide on saturday, but just wanted to get a head start on things...

I think the point was is that he doesn't want his 9 year old sun in a river. Not that he doesn't want to buy a pair.:)

If I were you I'd bring him to a trib !!! River is too dangerous for a kid at this level !! ;)

Look at the map available on this site. Fish the creeks. They should have plenty of fish, and not be running too high. I will also be fishing this weekend, and that's where I'll be Fishin"

hit one of the creeks. I agree...9 is too young to put him in waders, especially with this water.
