View Full Version : Hoodies.. your preference?

We are all fisherman and all have preferences to tackle, clothing, and gear. I know there has to be others out there that are particular about their HOOODIE! I am still in search of the perfect hoodie. I find many of the hoodies hoods are too small and restrictive. Then there is the materials they are made of.... Cotton is nice but it does not mix with water very well. Fleece is good but sometimes too hot. A micro fleece may be better. Are there any brand or style that you guys prefer over all others. What a sweet idea.....the Salmon River Hoodie!! It has a cloak-like hood, water resistant, dries quickly....etc..

A few years ago the GAP made a fleece hoodie.....still have mine but not sure if they make em any more.

Anything fleece is perfect for this time of year, I have a Nautica and Eddie Bauer I wear all the time. I just bought a Under Armour hoodie and that thing is awesome.

I like a full zip-up fleece w/hood. That way I can adjust the zipper for temp. control. Plus it's easier to get on and off so I don't feel trapped in it.

I have a couple carhart pullover hoodies that i like. They are big and baggy. Probably noy as warm as fleece, but they are a thicker material than the average hoodie. I love hoodies, own around 8 of them.

those heavyweight carharts are hard to beat, i have one specially for the hard water.....never got a chill yet.

I picked up my fleece hoodie at Wal of Mart, 10 bucks. Actually I just saw one in Sierra Trading Post... hold on I'll look it up.... 3.95 for a hoodie, I should buy another one!
