Ive heard reference to them as being used for salmon. What are they? are they the same as san juan worms?

Berkley 3 inch trout worm. They catch just about everything that swims and not only pink works. gez I sound like a freakin advertisement.

I'm with ya Float! I have yet to catch something substantial on a pink worm. I've got every creek chub and fall fish in the SR but never a Salmon. Steelie or Trout.
I have however caught Steelie's on the San Juan worm, which is basically the same but no life-like feel or scent.

I just take the hook and and slightly pierce the worm about 1/3 of the way from the top. I do not go all the way through the worm. Just like I do with a jensen or exude egg.
