last year i did an MSN search to find info on salmon fishing in NY because i hadn't fished it in 15 years, ran into this site and caught the fever again:fishing2:

I dont remember, but I guess it was from TSS. I came over and it was lil and a couple other people. I posted some reports, question ect. The I had to take some time away from computers because of work and came back and I was deleted:(, must have been a upgrade. I wasnt even able to find my old posts.
After that I just picked a new name and started over.

I found it twice. Once through TSS and then I lost it, couldn't find the post on TSS, then I found it again through google.

Google search after being on SRSpecialist and NYFishTales, was looking for reports for the SR and finally fell on SC last winter... been reading all reports since february 06 and hooked since then... can't get away now!

it was back in 2003 and where almost hitting 2007, I was on FishUSA and it was going down hill and i looked for something better. i was hooked when i found the shoutbox, It was like crack and lil was the pusher hooking us cyber fishermen and never left since.

Did a search for SR reports, and I think I came in via TSS. And here we are....
I believe it was a search for salmon reports. May have seen it on fishusa also.

not really sure... lurked around when it first started. officially signed in as KHJ after I quit TSS. i think cray bugged me to become an official member.... havent looked back since.

I used to lurk on the TSS when it first started and thought to myself there is no way would I every get involved with a message board after watching that go on day in day out.
Then one day while guiding a group of 6 guys with 2 other guides, I had the pleasure of guiding Finman. He said that I should check SC out, So I did and I think that was back in 04. An the rest is history.

Hey Griz.. I remember Cliff talking about that dig.. If i remember right it was back in early 40's right?? Like everyone else i was getting back into Salmon fishing after many years off and found this doing a search..

A long time ago, I was searching the net for info about steelhead and salmon fishing in NY and came across the original site which probably had less than 50 members at the time. I joined for the he!! of it and think I may have been one of the original 50 members. I don't remember why but I had to re-join when I could no longer sign on possibly due to an equipment up-grade?

Umm i think i, came along right at the beginning of the site when lil posted it on tss. This is really the only salmon river site i read anymore. I've been here since the beginning thanks to lil's kindness of not banning me from the site for any of my various drunken posts i'm sure i should have been banned for but dont remember making.
Someday i'll actually fish again rather than read posts!
