Anyone fished the Oak yet, can't wait to get into the browns up there, I wait until the prime of hunting season, but wondering if anyone had a report.:D

Have not seen many browns at the Oak, they tend to show up strong late into nov. in clearing waters following an Erie Cannel water release or major rain event. Drive a little further down 104 and give 18mile a try. Have seen quite a few browns taken in the last 2 weeks but the water has droped and cleared, allowing many of the fish to be riped or cleared out. It appeared that a good number of steel and browns followed in the kings. Any rain in the system should bring in new waves of fish untill again the water drops and clears. Early morning is best. High colored flows protect the fish and encourages natural feeding habits. Good luck with the people. Only 500yrds of fishable stream. Consider it an urban fishery.
