I'm sitting here at work, cruising the reports, and peeking at all the pics. Ya killin' me, Smalls! It should be criminal to be stuck here ;) I just can't wait to get up there!!! :fishing2:
So how's is it up there now? Weather any good? What time of day is your favorite time to fish? Any hints on a good fly to use? I'm bringing my vise and some fly tying stuff, but I'm sure I'll be trekking back down to All Seasons for more fly paraphernalia at some point  I'm a real fly tying junkie :o

Weather right now is overcast mid 50's. Calling for morning sunshine Sat and cloudy afternoon. Sunday they are calling for rain. I love to fish at dusk on Sundays because I usually can only fish weekends, and at this time it almost feels like fishing on a weekday + the fish start to move around again. Right now, I am targeting trout, and have been doing well on Pink Suckerspawns and Chartruese/Orange scrambled egg patterns. :fishing2:

reguarding flys for the salmon river!!! FROM FISH AND CHIPS POST ON ANOTHER THREAD!!!
Egg patterns - some estaz and some glo bugs or your pattern of choice.
There should be some eggs in the system by then and the steelies and browns will be all over them.
Nymph and or stonefly patterns - hare's ear work great and black stones produce all year round. Add a touch of color to get their attention. Like a red tail or thorax or wingcase.
Woolybuggers and ESL's are nice to have as well. I like orange and pink for the heads on the esl's
comets - simple to tie and lots of variations.
Caddis pupa patterns are nice to have too. They don't have to be natural colors either.
Don't worry about specific recipes unless that's what you really want. They aren't feeding like trout as you know and having specific materials isn't necessary.
Come up with your own stuff too, it is the most rewarding.
