Anyone need a place to stay oct 8th and 9th

Hey guys anyone need a place to stay for oct 8th and 9th,,, i dont need to stay there some people are not comming up its a room for 4 guys at 321$ total.. at the portlodge in port ontario!! help me out i really dont want to pay it,, i tried to cancel today but they said i needed 14 days in advance i only got 11

I have worked in the Hospitality Industry for years...those "Policies" are not set in stone...They will fight you on it BUT they will let it go with enough fighting on your part. They cannot charge your account without your signature anyway so if a charge shows up all you have to do is dispute it with you Credit Card company. They will do the rest! Before that happens, Call back, be very polite, and ask to speak with a Manager! Always keep calm, and be firm, state that "you cannot make it this time, However, you will be back, please reverse it this one time and they will see your business in the future!!!" Don't get mad,:censored: don't yell :censored: and never say I will never stay here!!!:banplease: Once you say that, they will make it difficult for you on purpose and will keep your name so that you can't stay in the future. Regardless, if they don't cancel your Reservation, you will get your $$$ back by calling the Credit Card Company as I stater earlier. Sorry so wordy but I Guarantee It will work!!! Good luck and tight lines!
