We'll be heading up in september

Usually I go the first weekend in october for salmon but this year i have something else to do so i will be heading up the 22 23 and 24th. Do guys think there will be a lot of fish around then? If anybody is going to be up pm me and maybe we can swap reports or fish a place or 2. Im kinda mad because i like that weekend theres always fish around but maybe sice they seem to be running early this year they will be there in good number sthe weekedn im going up.

sept 24th? if so,, a few years ago,, i use to go at that time every year,, and there were always plenty of fish, i wouldnt stress about it.

I don't have the "crystal ball" but I would be willing to bet they'll be fish...river is cooling off pretty well now and that helps with everything else. By late September last year I was :censored: of landing Salmon!!!:eek:

There will be fish around. Our group has loved the last week of september. There almost always is a decent run that week.

It may not be hot and heavy, but you shouldn't have any trouble finding some action.

You should have no problem catching fish on those dates>))>EC

For the past 5 years I've been up there the week before October and there has been fish throughout the river. If they are not in the lower end of the river then there are fish in the upper part near the trestle holes all the way up to Altmar.

Last year was an exceptional week fresh fish all week but high water. You can't have you cake and eat it 2.
The year before there were not too many fresh fish but they were plenty up river. Most of the time there is fresh fish. Like TopGun said u better get that crystal ball! See you at the river! :eek:

You should have plenty of fish plus the crowds should be alot less you may have to work alittle harder but it can be great also.
