congratulations Hamj, i just picked up a chocolate lab pup a few weeks ago and we also have a cheaspeake bay retriever (5 yrs old).
It is great. Once they break the barrier it's pretty wild.
My older ***** actually runs the little guy over and takes him out, they love each other and they both love the water.

Why wait we have 2 dog, 2 cat and 2 kids, the wife was the one that suggested that Maya need a friend.;)

awesome looking pup! looks like you got a full house. Atleast the dogs will never talk back or give out honey-do-lists. haha lol
what kind of name is bow? it is a nice short name, when your out hunting you don't want to be calling out some long name and your dog never comes back because he doesn't know it yet. You need something short to re-enforce the command NO, using NO alone works but early on in training, you sometimes need to add the name of your dog to the command, because they know there name and gets there attention so they can lesson to the command "BOW NO".

Cray up here in China town in montreal, they pay per pound for cats, so you can make some great cash off your two!!

The only problem with Bow is getting him confused. My Dog is named Bojangles and his nick name is Bo. When he was younger he got a little confused but he knows NO now! :D
HamJ I might be calling you for directions!!
