Anything in the Susquie and Deleware(east, weat and main). These rivers are excellent for float fishing for the off season fish. Plus, I make a couple trips to Oneida Lake for Smallies and Walleye. I want to start hitting the Finger Lakes but, dont have enough time.
Bass, panfish, crappies, and trout on the Deleware. Maybe even a trip or two for Lakers on the Big O.

centerpin, if you ever do make it to the finger lakes naples creek runs real nice about this tme of year, most of the crowd has lightend up and the creeks make for some excellent rainbow fish. You can also find the lakers off shore fairly easy. Has anyone fished the big "O" for there walleye this year yet? Haven't heard anything about how there doing with there new spawning wall.

I put 35000 miles a year on my truck, I have over 45 rods from a 8' grouper stick to a new centerpin  . there is no off season. fishing is a disease, but I have only one disease.

I switch over to the salt- We do a couple of tuna trips each summer, (tuna, wahoo, dolphin) and the CEO of my company has a 30ft boat that he keeps in Cape May where we go after stripers, sea bass, flounder, some weakfish, and whatever else is out there. I make it down there about 5-7 times each summer.
Stream trout don't do it for me anymore, I like the big guys now. One thing I haven't tried is taking the pin to where Valley Creek meets the Schukyll River and seeing what learks in that area.
Fish and Chip- Ever fish that area?

In order from spring to fall....
Trout-Trout&walleye-bass&crappie&perch&bullhead(@night)
I have never had the setup for lakers, but would like to try that...
Moving at the end of the month to CA, so the list above will change...
The surrounding lakes have stripers, trout, and channel cats. So we will see how it goes...

alot of striper fishing in the cape cod canal planned for this fall. stripers and blues off nantucket starting tonight. and i used to go after albies come september but i fear that i may be lost forever for chasing albies as salmon tend to be running the river that time of year. and chase trout on the Farmington in Connecticut every now and again.

Kal- I learned how to fish on the Farmington. Used to live their till 1980 right in farmington. When I was 5&6 years old my Grandfather used to take me up to riverton and fish the river there. That was the first time I held a fly rod. They used to tie a rope to my waste and then to a tree in case I fell in. Brings back a lot of memories.

but as far as the farmington being a toilet, i would have to respectfully disagree with that assessment.

In the "off" season....big fish, realy, realy, big fish. The fish in my avatar is a baby compared to some i have caught. Thinking about buying an inexpensive pin rig to try for some saltwater stuff.

Brookies, brookies, pike, and brookies, browns and bows. All out of the Adirondack's. Have a nice Lake close by that 20 lb northerns are a real possibilaty and 12 to 16lbers are common.

I was only joking man.. I live about 20 minutes from it! It's kinda like calling a fat guy slim, or a bald guy curly, or like calling a hairy chested man wearing a purple bikini sexy!:D
