This may have to go thru PM's, but I will ask it here. I am on the fence about going west of Oswego or east of Oswego for a fishing trip Sat. We may go to Oak Orchard or the Genny or somewhere inbetween. However The Genny has really caught my interest. I have never fished it :D . I do know how sensitive that river is to precip, and have found 4 different USGS water guage sites. Which one is the best indicator of good flow to fish? What is the ideal flow? Any info is apprecaited.

Focus on the Avon one. Anything less than 20 is a good flow and you can semi wade near the island. Anything over that is dangerous, and she is usually running Dirt brown, which is NOT fun to fish. Green and 19.5 is ideal.

The key for the genny is mostly the color rather than the flow rate
