The latest and greatest update...
Nate came home on Friday!!! The house is a disaster and everyone is extremely tired, but its all good!!!
He actually came home 3 weeks ago (1-27) but just before he came home they changed out his g-tube and switched his formula and he had a few complications from that. Nothing major but they had to readmit him on 2-8 and durring his stay he had his 3rd surgery. They were worried about his Liver and had to do a biopsy and at the same time they did a couple other procedures. After a brief stay for recovery time and to get some paper work done he came home this past Friday.
Things are going fine with his sister, who has past him and now weighs more than he dose.
It is still going to be a long journey for the kid but hopefuly the worst is behind him. I get home from work every day and walk into the living room and see all of the kids and all I can do is laugh!!! All I think about is how COOL it is going to be teaching all of them how to fish.
One last thing, I just wanted to say thanks to all fo you that have been asking how the family is doing through PM's and in the shout box, and all of the kind word you have put in replies to the updates I have given. I especially want to say thanks to you, Lil, for having the best damn fishing site on the web where a guy can go and feel free to tell others about their personal lives as well as read honest fishing reports and see pics of some great fish!!! You guys do a great job with this site and hopefully some day I will be able to get out again and give my share of info and reports and join in on any of your future events.
