Good place to stay

I am heading for a 2 day run Sun. 02/12-any suggestions of where to stay?

You can't go wrong with the 1880 House. It's the only place that I stay.

fox hollow lodge right on rte. 13 on the way to altmar.
the schoolhouse inn in altmar. phil and rene are great.

I really like Whitaker's, they treat me great when I'm there, and it's convenient to the river, tackle, food, and beer!

Like Wolleybugger said Bart at Fox Hollow Lodge is a good choice.

Stayed over there a few time and always a great place to crash at either the lodge or a cabin your choice.

Malindas rooms are clean and 100 feet from The Altmar Bar. No driving and she opens the shop even if you show up at midnight!!!

Newbie, it may be to late, but I stay at Salmon Heaven in Altmar, Brenda and Harry are great, rooms are clean price seems very nice, and Brenda usually puts out something for a breakfast on the run, in there lodge downstairs...check them out.

If your looking to go Cheap try Fish on motel....O.K it's not top notch but at least you get cable tv
