I just "noticed" a few changes to my "handle"...so to speak. I guess the "river sponser" thing is from donating custom rods to our events. OK...I can deal with that.
So my question is....where did this Veteran Angler / Sultan of Salmon & Steelhead on a Fly came from??? LMAO  !!!! It's more like standing in the river throwing fuzz & fur at fish like some clumsy lunatic!!!

JS, how come "standing in the river throwing fuzz & fur at fish like some clumsy lunatic" works sooooooo much better for you, when I know I am more of a lunatic than you and I aint got SQUAT?!!? :yell: :help: We've been up a numer of times for steel, and all I catch are smolts on nightcrawlers (OK, it could be worse, the little ones are still fun:o ). What gives? Maybe I just need that new rod you're working on and some magic pixie dust or something.
Last time up, TG and I fished with Toolie at the barrel, and I was flinging my blue teeny nymphs standing 15 feet downstream from Toolie, and I got nada but cold. Headed to the bank and halfway there Tool-man hooks up. I swear I'm just bad luck, cause when I go away, people catch fish. Just like that big brown of TG's that day, that water was the same water I whipped to a froth for over an hour, and along comes TG and a few drifts later WHAMO!!!
OK, OK, I'm done boo-hoo-ing. Maybe I should just be glad Cray can't give me some whacky name (although one of these days I'll become a river sponsor).
Hope ya had fun on jury sitting.:ballchain: :argue:

:faint: OK...I knew Cray, Fin or Lil most likely had something to do with. As for donations to SC for whatever we're doing in regards to an event or derby...I'm always glad to donate what I can. It's the least I could do for all that the site and members (that I know so far) have given back to me. Nothing replaces great firends and memories on the water...no matter what the fish are or where you're fishing.
Happy...just let me know in a PM when you're going to be on the water and if I'm around (or planning on being there too) we'll get you throwin' the Teeny deal in nothing flat like a pro.
SF...did I forget to mention I saw some chrome hanging out in a culvert pipe / ditch when I went to Erie with Toolie last March??? Got it marked on the GPS just for you!!! As for actually fly fishing the SR for chrome or even browns, well...it's just a different ballgame all together and can be very demanding both technically and knowledge wise of fish behavior. OR...you just simply whiffed and we were all being nice!!! LOL  Moreover, I was just wanting to see you do one of these  or these :faint: when it happened so I could have something break-up my day!!!
Hey, don't forget the last time you, TG and I were together above the bridge and TG stepped out after an hour and I stepped-in and whacked "his" fish in 2 drifts!!! By the way, nice net job on that one!!! Just wait until Erie and when drop-backs start on the SR...you'll do just fine.
AND...just for the record...JURY "SITTING" IS NOT FUN...and I'm still doing it well into next week. But, the "number" I have to follow each day and sit next to...well, let's just say the "view" is a nice distraction!!!:woohoo:

With such a long title to your name now, it'll be easier just calling you Skippy.

TG...according to our presiding Supreme Court justice, it is a federal holiday, so no court today. WHICH ACTUALLY $UCK$ because temps are going into the 40's over the next few days and the soonest I'll be done is this Thursday. :yell: Don't they know they're messin' with my fly tying, rod building and fishin' time!!!
AND...just for the record...I much prefer "Kee-Mo-Squash-Me" over "Skippy" any day!!!
