We're in the middle of getting an estimated 10 inches of snow. Went to leave my house only to find my transfer case on my truck was stuck in 2WD! Alot of hills on my commute to work. Took a bit longer than expected. Just what I need, another bill at this time of year:(

We got about 8" here in the Catskills, execting maybe a foot. Our extended trout season ended on the 30th of November, will have to make a trek north really soon.

They are still up there... they are looking to restart the program again.. I see them every so often out the window. The boxes are on the floor above me.

We got about 8" in northern NJ. Commute to work started in snowstorm and ended up extemely bright. Sad part is people drove better in the snow than with the sun glare.

Coolrobc,
You might not like your view but, you live and work in a Steelheader's playground. I would trade any good view for that.

Got about a foot in good old Vernon, NJ. I came in to work at 5:30AM and beat most of the white stuff. Now I'm tired as hell and I'm going home so I can get rid of the damn snow. Well maybe I'll smoke a cigar and drink some cognac and make it a party!:D :D :D

Pretty much a big fizzle in Albany - maybe three inches on the ground now. Of course, they had the schools all called off before the first flake had even fallen (shoulda been a school teacher:rolleyes2:).

We got a good 9" here too. Played on the tractor all morning plowing then decided to take it 4-wheelin' on the hill. The turkeys and deer now have some prime areas open with almost no snow so they can get to some of their preferred munch-a-bles.
Never tried this before, but it may be worth it to keep them in some natural food for the winter. Went back to the first spot I did only 90-minutes later and already had 2 deer visit it...sure beats the heck out of plowing, raking, disking, fertilizing and planting just to have the critters eat everything before hunting season rolls around. Maybe the big boy will be in there tomorrow with the clearing weather...otherwise the wife :bigeek: will have bragging rights over all of us this year!!!
