I go with three options depending on flow.
1) WFF 8
2) Sink Tip 8 (If water temps warm for swinging)
3) Runnning Line (for high flows)

Fly - 10' 6" Orvis T3 6 weight / Orvis Battenkill LA with 6 weight floating line for indie fishing and nymphing.
Fly big water/Salmon - 11' Cabela's 8 weight / Orvis Battenkill LA 8 weight floating line. Although I am in the process of choosing a multi tip line for all conditions. Floating through extra fast sinking heads.
Noodle Spin - Fenwick 10' 6" / Team Daiwa SSII w/ 4lb Trilene XL clear. ( Haven't used this rod an about 2 years, I got the fly rod bug and cant stop! ) I fish floats 90% of the time with this rod.
I'm currently having a 11' 6" Noodle Fly rod ( about a 4/5 weight ) built by a fellow board member. That will also have a floating line for indie and nymph fishing. I wanted this rod for low, clear conditions and winter fishing when light tippets are the norm.
