Best Time for steelhead?

Hi,

I want to go fishin for steelhead this year and what is the best time to go? How long in advance should I book my trip with a guide?

Honestly, any time between now and May. You cant go wrong in late Fall, you cant go wrong in the Winter and you cant in the Spring. Every guide adjusts the strategy according to the season. But the fish are there! Find a guide that you like and trust and shoot them a email. If they want your business they will help you with any questions on thier availability

don't go too far looking for a guide. there are at least 2 on this site that you'd want to try. gottum and get the net. sorry if i left anyone else out. we're going with gottum in december and will put him to the test! i can't wait!!!
