Had one of my fav tribs all to myself yesterday. Nice day on the water (even in th rain), and there were some fish to be found. :) Went back today and it was packed with people. :( This guy came up to me and started talkin. I noticed he didn't have a rod, but looked otherwise much like any other fisherman. Asked me how I was doing, what i was picking up fish on, what size hook I was using....then asked me for my license.... DEC in disguise!!!! I loved it. This stream gets a lot of rippers, but they are in for a surprise, because apparently there is a new guy in town and he likes to sneak up on ya! Didn't see/hear of him giving any bogus tickets....seemed like a nice guy.

I hope anyone that meets up with a DEC officer gives them a Thank-You just to let them know their efforts are appreciated. I'm sure they don't get that too often but they deserve it .

i'd be glad to fish with DEC beside me all day, if they are going to FAIRLY enforce the laws
that is very cool that they are blending in
better for everyone in the long run:)
