Salmon in the SR

Is there many salmon left on the gravel in the SR? Think there will be enough non-white decayed fish to have fun later this week?

My buddy and I were fishing on the river sunday..Started out in Altmar in the AM looking for some steel.Not many steel to be found but we did get quite a few salmon but a lot fewer then last week..Seems like most of the salmon are starting to get a little CRUSTY and a lot of carcasses are piling up in the pools and on the shore. Later on in the morning headed down around the town area, Got into 1 small steelie and 1 acrobatic king....So to answer your question there will still be a few salmon around, but it looks like the salmon fishing is coming to a close in a hurry.Less and less salmon every week. Shouldn't be long now and the steel should start showing up ..

GMAN - Im going up no matter what, its just a matter of going to the SR for salmon or the tribs for trout. Looks like I'll be going to the tribs.:cool:
