I love fishing here in Pennsylvania for trout. However, for the last 7-8 years I have been going up to the Salmon River with a group of friends. It wasn't until last year that I found out the way that I was taught to fish for salmon was a wrong way (lifting). Since I found out the truth last year, I have been reading a lot on the proper technics for catching salmon. I was just wondering if Icould get some insight on weight, lures, various flys, etc. that some of you use, so that maybe I can have some sucsess at fishing for salmon the RIGHT WAY!!!

Thanks-A-Lot
I'd appreciate any help

That is a very broad question. My advice would be to first scan thru the archives. There is a boat load of info on this site. It doesn't matter if you spin, fly or float fish, I am confident you will find what you are looking for. If you have any questions, post them or PM people. Most if not all members on this site will share information if asked.

Good luck!
