Fat Nancy is one big salmon!

Have u ever seen fat nancy in the store when u walk in now thats a salmon of a lifetime!Probally would walk five miles before landing her!

Several years back, when Fat Nancy's was a really small shop and gas station compared to now, they used to have the display of the fish just outside the door. One evening just before closing a couple of trucks pull in. One guy pumps gas then goes in and occupies the only employee on duty while the other steals the original Fat Nancy mount!!!! :eek: :eek:

I don't know if they ever recovered the mount, but I do know the one they have now is a replica of it. What kind of "nut" would risk get arrested for stealing a mount of a fish they didn't even catch??? It's not like your every day river fish and would be quite hard to hide from descriminating eyes. I remember going there like 2-weeks after it happened and asked if they were having repair work done on the mount as it was getting quite weathered...manager said "Nope...some jerk stole it"!!! Man...only in Pulaski!!!
