You could contact Gottum Guide Service. He is a member here. I was just out with him this past weekend and had a blast! Also, If you go on the Links page of the site there is a nice list of guides.

Met this guy named "Trapper" of Trapper's Guide Service back last April. He was just coming off the river with clients at the Ball Park ramp. My friends sort of knew him and asked him what was up with the steelhead.

Guy didn't even hesitate to let us in on few spots that produced that day. One was a place in the river I'd never tried in April...so I said what the heck, let's go. Couple hours later one friend got his first steelhead ever...an 11 lb male...and the other friend lost a nice fish of about 10 lbs right at the bank. We had already been in to fish that day, but were looking for some in the double digit range...he was on the money for sure with his recommendation that afternoon.

Trap is a really nice guy. Always willing to stop and talk and share info.

One thing, In the old days, 5 years ago, Trap has been know to use a LONG leader for steelhead. I'm talking 13 feet or more.

You will truly enjoy a float trip in the Caddy driftboat with Shane "Gottum" Thomas... Not only is he loaded with expertise when it comes to catching these fish and eager to share that knowledge with his clients, he is just a plain ole nice guy. I look forward to another trip with him this winter...

Good Luck to you.

my suggestion for a guide would be joe from river run troutfitters

http://www.riverruntroutfitters.com/

the guy knows the river, where the fish are, why, and how to hook up with them

his flies are ridiculous too and his dog sinbad is one tough river dog
