I currently salmon fish with a 10lb main and 8 or 6lb leader on my spinning outfit. Thinking about running straight 10. Anybody got any comments or should just go with my 10ft 8wt. Have more fun with the fly,but like using the spin when the crowds are in.

for the spinning outfit, that is fine. i use 14 main with 8 or 10 for salmon. looks like i will be using the flyrod next time though, i broke the tip off my new spinning rod in the car door.:( gotta learn the hard way, i guess.:mad:
