T Line?

All of the tackle shops around the SR have said that T Line is the most popular line used on the river for spin fishermen. Is T line the best....or just the most expendable? It seems like a clear mono would work the best.:confused:

T line is tough stuff. I used it on my spinning reels the first couple of seasons until I started pinning. Salmon River Sport Shop in the middle of Pulaski carries it. I used 8 pound and do not ever remember breaking off a fish with it. Still have it on a couple of reels and it is still fine after probably 7 years, the last time I spooled a spinning reel. I was going to try it on a pin rig but decided to go to hi-vis lines.
