Does anyone here ever fish the Black River?

Ive fished the black river 3x in a drift boat and we always did good there for steelies,,its a sleeper spot :D >))>

Yup we back rowed up to the wall,,and the guide anchored there and we banged steelies right by it,,,we hit fish from there past the bridge and by that campsite and the oposite side where it looks like beriut>))>

Beruit is a great place to fish when the water is going over the dam. I've gone up there before and have had fish (browns, steelies, kings) trying to go up the falls between my legs. :D

Does anyone know if they are running there yet? Also is there any sites that have daily fishing and river reports for Black River/ Dexter ?

nope and nope, that place is like the smaller tribs, got to know the patterns that will make the fish move into there. It is a hit or miss and the runs that do come up are smaller fish and way smaller in #'s.
