they are open for dinner? I thought they close early.

I go to Altmar Inn for the 3 beers, chsburger deluxe and fries for under $15. i told the wife its better than going to Fridays, her and i same - beers = $12. can't beat that.

IMO the best food in town is that Italian joint just up the the road from Pulaski Pizza, same side of the road, forget the name. If you were willing to travel to ***** Creek, this small little hole-in-the-wall Uncle Nino's was the best...but I think he has moved shop further towards Watertown :(

I ate breakfast at c&m last year and I found thier home fries to be the most disgusting thing I have ever ate. Nice location though if you are looking to grub before going to the river

I ate at Uncle Nino's last fall - at that time he had relocated to Mannsville. I dont know if he is still around though. Was planning to check it out during the 10/5-7 trip. That'd be a shame if he closed. Best scungilli fra diavlo and pasta bowl your ever gonna see for $7.95! Always huge portions too!

last time I was up Country Pizza was closed. that place was good. For great (IMO) food Ranbow Shores has a seasonal restaurant back a dirt road. Back when I had money (before wife and son) that place was the cat's meow. haven't been there in a while. if someone puts a dirty water dog station and a keg on there drift boat I would buy some when you drift by.:o :D

back to C&M i like it, but i usually suck down a bagel and scalding hot coffee from DD. if i get there at 4am before all those goons with corkers show up.:D

Ahhhh the lag cabin inn ... couldnt think of the name. That was a great Thanksgiving day dinner buffet they had and priced right.

Well no sense dwelling on a vacant lot now LOL

Ill have to give Stephanos a try

Frick n Fracks was da BOMB. Open 24-7, I could close down the bar, hose out the drunks, hop in the car and be there drinking coffee with the after bar crowd at 3-4 in the morning. Between 4-5 the farmers, truckers and early shift workers in Scuse would show up and it was time for breakfast. Giant plates of good food friendly staff and got to know some pretty interesting locals. Must be out of bussiness 15 years and I still miss it.
