I was wondering at what depth you guys are marking kings. Also how close to the rivermouth? Thanks in advance.

Read this on the other site. What to you guys make of this? Ditch?

Some kings are getting dark and predicted to have some early river bursts depending on water. Some browns were colored up, like they've run a creek for a day or so in the heavy rain.
I'm woundering how many fish will survive these water temps  .

Before the heavy winds the fish were in about 70-120', mostly off the plant. The thermocline was down about 60. Since its been scattered from 100-500fow and the cold water dropped to 80-90' down. Good reports from the shipping channels off Henderson have been consistent for a few weeks. Oz has been OK but 120' out over there. But I wouldn't expect much to be coming near the river for another month at least- If they come sooner I'd be very surprised but I'll be sure to let you know.

I heard from a good source that the Charter guys out of the SR have been fishing out in front of catfish creek in 80-120 FOW and getting some decent #'s of Kings.

I was thinking of going up to fish the trench in Henrderson this weekend if the winds are not blowing from the west.. If that fails, here I come harborfest....:D
