You guys all had some nice things to say about my last couple post, thank you for the nice words. I was wondering if you guys would want me to write up something on fish biology (salmon/steelhead) along with some of the points we discussed in those post relating to salmon/steelheads habits. If you guys are intrested let me know and I'll write something up, and talk to Lil about posting it as an article. If anyone every has any fish biology/morphology questions PM me or post it and I'll be glad to help.
Maybe something at the clam bake.

That will be a great idea. Specially about "the conook", really amazing. Also it would be pretty interesting knowing more deeply about its biology, ecology morphology and reproductive strategies. Again, that was a great piece of information. Thanks

Ofcourse...not only will it raise the level of the site, but it will most certainly help newbies figure things out quicker and easier. And as for those that have more time on the water, I for one seem to always be looking for an "edge" or new tip(s) every season...never too old (or experienced) to learn more.

Hey, I'll proof it but, I wouldn't choose me to proof it LOL. Why don't you ask Fish Doctor, Thalwag, Gman or Craig to do it. I'm sure I left out some others with more talent then I have :) .

You know what, Im going to post the draft here, and you guys can read it and let me know what else you would like to see in it or if a second or more articles are needed. I would like to do some stuff on fish identifaction, both smolts/parr and adults. I will need your help on this one because I have no confusion between Identifing species. So here is my list add to it please. Just a responce to another post, they say that you can not id a coho X nook hybrid positively without looking at internal organs. This is true but we dont have to be one hundred percent sure. I can tell you with all honesty that an experenced fisherman call look closely at a fish and tell that it is a hybrid, for the most part. We will definately discuss this in an artcle. I need you all to Email me any pics that you positively know are hybrids and any pics that might be.
coho or nook
coho of steehead
chambers creek or skam
hybrid or coho or nook
brown or atlantic
Any pics of bright fish would be helpfull, because these are the most difficult to id

From my point of view I think the article is nicely organized, explains the how, where and when we can find salmon in a concise manner, using a lot of common sense and NEW information that is been acquired trhough years of observation and fishing experience. The language used is the everyday fisherman's talk, direct and to the point. The necessary scientific terminology is used when needed and the most important thing of all is that it looks like is been written by a fisherman to be used by fisherman (Not to impress anyone). Well done, thanks.
