...in the snow and cold. Catch lots of fish while I'm in the land of sun, sand and palm trees. Going to Puerto Rico for a few days. Leave a few steelies for me for when I return.

If you are going to San Juan take a 1 hour ride to Fajardo where the public ferry is and for $3 you can take a ferry ride to the island of Culebra, all of the flats around the island have populations of very large bonefish. You can get a guide but you can also simply walk out and fish as well. A guide I have used is Chris Goldmark #787-742-0412. I go every other year for the last 6 years as I have a good friend who lives there.

Thanks for the name of the guide. I actually went to Fajardo and just about every other little town between San Juan and Ceibo. This was not a fishing trip. More to spend some quality r & r with the other half and a couple of days to look around the east end of the island. I'm actually thinking about buying real estate down there. Need to check out the west end next before deciding witch end I like best.
