Well, first the genny rose 8 feet in two days, not fishable. The harbor is not fishable behind the hotels due to all the left over ice being
pushed in from the north wind. The ice starts at the ramp and continues to the end of the hotels. Plus the O is up to 11,200 cfs. and rising slightly. So I 'd say first hand reports are better than what "i've been told".

I just thought people should give first hand reports and check info before brodcasting it. Is that so wrong?

11000 cfs is nothing to the driftboats. I seen Kevin pull fish out of Oswego in 15000cfs!! It is a little high for the bank fisherman, but there are a few spots that can be fished if you know where they are ;)

Yeah I saw Kevins report from last week and saw he has an opening for this Friday. I was more than half way through an e-mail for trying to book it and then I remembered I have a major repair going on Thursday and Friday and on call Saturday?!?!?!!:(
I guess the nasties have me pretty bad!!! I forgot about work while looking at his report, even though I was at work while reading it.
As for the Genny, I was wondering how the water was now after the 60* day wa had here the other day. I know if we get a sprinkle here in the southern tier you can forget about fishing the Genny for at least a week!!! On the other hand when it starts dropping with this cold spell it might be good by next week.
I am already coming down with something and I think I may be taking Thursday next week off to recooperate!!! St. Patties day on the water and a few cold ones in the back pack, cant beat it!!!:D

Tater, now did you think up that name on your own, or have you been watching/listening to ----- too much Red Neck County from Foxworthy and the Gang??? I love them guys...."you know, your a Red Neck if your over your brother's house helping him move his refrigerator and the grass underneath the refrigerator is all brown!!! or if you go to your family reunion to find a date!!!"

The Big O is scary stuff at 15,000 + .. I went down there one day to have a look see and possibly wet a line. I was standing on the sidewalk up from Bridie Manor, and the water was up to my waist,, Even though I had the railings in front of me it was scary stuff to see that flow of water rushing by you..
One mistake at them flows and they "may" find your body in the Lake...
