I am placing my order via Cabelas, Looks like the only modification I will be making is gettin that Caddy emblem welded onto the front...
Class V Capabilities - even though I don't have the stones for Class V , it's nice to know you have the Boat capable of it.

G if you are going to get a pontoon I'd highly recommend Water Skeeter's over the boat you are looking at... both me and finman have them and love 'em...
We have river tamer II's ...

That is a monster!! It is definitely a good quality boat, but a thousand bucks is ouch!! I still think Waterskeeter gives you the biggest bang for the buck. The only drawback for the standing platform is that when you are drifting, you can't dangle your foot in the water to use it as a rudder to keep you and the boat facing the bank side, or whichever way you want to swivel the profile of the front of the boat. It's something that I do a lot while drifting and fishing at the same time. Other than that, that boat is no slouch at 10 and half foot pontoons. Good luck, and let get them on the river man!!

According to what I read, the platform slides out of the way..
I called NorthFork to order their DVD and left a message. I asked if they will be at the Harrisburg show in Feb. I bet that lady's voice in customer service is as sweet as she looks on the website.:D
I really want to see and touch before I drop a Grand. Fin - I agree, it is alot of $$, but this is a 10 year investment..That sucker will still fit in my pickup - with the tail gate down - or on top of my Blazer.
I am going to call Cabela's in Hamburg tonight to see if they have one assembled so I can sit and feel it b4 I buy.
I am looking at Water Skeeters too. They look like a fine boat.
Decisions,decisions..

I highly doubt that they have one of those assembled in the store. Last time I was there, they had the Columbia orange boat, a Fish Cat Panther, an ODC 1016, and a couple of other real small boats.
If that platform slides out of the way, that is the ticket then!! You'll have the best of both worlds!!
