This is like the question Gman put up on TSS. What is the first thing you are going to throw at these monsters?? I don't care if you spin or fly fish I am just curious. I think my bet is either going to be one of the spey flies I tied or the good old Estaz egg!! I am using my fly rod of course. But my spin tackle is always close buy. Let me know yall!!! Just something to get your blood pumping in wait for the run!!!

At first I thought it would be a size 6 Olive Wooley Bugger, but since then I have tied up so many darn flies I have too many choices now.

...i really got to get my rod done i'm building, i keep putting it off but time is growing short.

P.s. the wife got me a new fenwick noodle that I tried in steelie season, only to snap the tip on the fish I hooked into. Local shop replace it, no questions asked, but i am itchin' to try it out on some kings.

First thing im gonna try is a pink-sponge fly...lol..followed my charteuce sponge fly w/a lil flashabou butt,then pink or red egg-sucking leach,remember 10-2 they hit....lol...good luck 2ya >))> :lol:
