Would love to meet some of you guys on the river sometime drop me an email or post when you head up. I am looking at my first trip being the weekend of sept. 20 and 21st.

I will be up at least one day a weekend as soon as the run starts. Was going to take the boat down the river the 30th for the last water release, but it looks like we'll be putting in a new clutch in my truck instead. I'm thinking my next trip will be the weekend of the 6-7-8(one of those days). I cant wait, dying to hook a real fish.

I am self-employed so I am planning a major work slowdown (self-imposed strike)... Paid enough income taxes this year..

Plan on having lots of time on SR this year... Would like to run into some of you guys.. Seem like a bunch of fine gentlemen.

If you guys are anything like "Pa-Catch&ReleaseMan" then it should be laugh a minute.

Hey Lil Salmon ,that'd be cool to meet ya,we could swap some flies and bull$hit and of course catch mudsharks!!!! Ive met Carpy & King steelie fishing before,,cool dudes,,Carpy came all the way from Elmira to my place and we went striper fishing down by ***** Hook,we had a blast,caught lots of stripers and bluefish...I cant wait to feel a mudshark on my line.....>))> ecsteelheader

I'm from the Lehigh Valley area and use 476/NE Turnpike extension at the Allentown interchnage, old exit #33. Once there, I point the vehicle North and stand on it. Any rendezvous points in the area where one could safely leave a vehicle for several days?

If you get off the turnpike Wyoming Valley interchange #37, and head 1/2 mile south on Rte 315 there is a park & ride lot at red light... That is a safe place.

If you are looking to share a ride later this year, look me up. I live in White Haven, 3 miles off exit 35.. My driveway is quite safe... (My neighbors are well armed and shoot to kill car thieves,,lol).

Thanks Gman, I left my car in a lot off of Tilghman St. one time in Atown and returned to find it trashed. I wonder why they call it Atown? When I was a kid the keys for all the vehicles would remain in the ignition till we junked the vehicle. Can't do that around here any more, unless you like walking
