Heading up with a buddy who has a boat.. We are entering the LOC Derby and plan on fishing the area around SR mouth. So far the leader in Salmon category is 33lbs. With a scheduled release to 750 we figure it may bring them in close.

Will be staying in Altmar, so I will definitely take a look-see at the river.

Let you know conditions upon return..

There are no fish in front of the river mouths yet. Try nine mile point over 140 -160 feet, the thermocline is way down there. We got three in four hours with Howie flys and dodgers. Plus a 5 pound smallmouth from 141 feet of water! The weather during the past couple of weeks has the lake screwed up. Where do you go out of? Does your buddy have a slip or does he do the trailering mess?
