Ok heres the deal... I'm on my 2nd or third pair of corkers because mine keep falling off..... ive used nylon rope, zip ties n everything does NOT work.... the corkers i have now have a small back and are flat from the heel to the front with no ridges for the front or sides... there is no laces on them, what do you recommend i tie them on with because they will not stay on my cabelas waters.... ITS DRIVN ME CRAZY

Best pair of boots I've ever had are Simms guide boots. Second to them are the Simms L2, or something like that. The first ones look kind of cheap, with no real support. But that is an illusion. They support your ankles well, still supple, and they do really grip the rocks with a combination of studs and high friction rubber.

The L2s, or something like that, are exceedingly sturdy boots. I feel like King Kong in them. They are felt soled and studded.

If you are looking for the cheaper way to go, buy a pair of hodgman gladiator sandles. I use them alot when I don't have my chota's on and they work great. You just cannot change the studs in them with out a headache!

My wife bought me a pair of carbide k-5000 korkers from Fish USA. They have the adjustable buckles and strapes for boots. I have not had a chance yet to use them but they seen pretty nice. I think the cost was $70.00

I have the Gladiator sandals, but I can't say I would recommend them. The studs started falling out of mine the first time I used them and I think I've lost about 15 studs between the two sandals during about 4 trips to the SR. I guess they aren't bad for about $55, but I will buy something with screw-in studs next time.

Just screw the corkers to your boots, I think that will help you out. If not, you could always duct tape them on, I have seen that more than once in my day!

The new style korkers with straps and buckles are far better then the ones with laces. I used to have the lace type and I used a drywall screw through the side of the korker and into the heel of my boot. This prevented the heel from working its way loose........Greg.

1" drywall screws into the heel works for me with the lace korkers

drywall screws work great. 1 in the back and 1 on each side of the heel.

i think in total honesty that corkers are way to heavy ive rather just spend the money on studed boots.;)

YOU GOT THE MAGIC PAIR. I have these as well and they stay on pretty good. The cleats could use some improvement on staying where they should, screws can be used for replacing.

I kind of like the heaviness of the korkers, they keep me planted and I can use the xtra effort it takes to walk around in them. Me being fat and lazy in my usual day to day activities.

What he said. Screw the korkers on and you wont have any problems with them falling off anymore.

I ruined a pair of RedHead waders with screwing corkers in to them. Becareful and make sure they do not have some sort of air pocket in the heal like mine did.

I use these and love em! The interchangable soles have never come out and they are extremely comfortable! You can buy the extra insert soles for $30 a piece! I use the rubber studded insert for wading on very slippery surfaces!
