The crowds from the salmon season have finally died down a bit, but that doesn't mean the fishing is dead and gone. Actually the fishing has been pretty decent as of late. The number of steelhead and browns in the river is real promising this season. My personal opinion is that there is still a small late run of kings to come up. With this recent cold weather and rain that may trigger the last of the big boys to hit the river and spawn. It would be quite interesting if they decided to raise the water again from 335CFS to 750 CFS. next update comes tonight at 9 so who knows what the future holds.

I can't believe how fast the off season has flown by this year. SummerFest is only 3 days away and we will be ready to officially kick off the 2008 salmon season with a bang! I am so happy we bumped the festivities this season back a week. There are some fish in the river now and it will give all who attend an early shot of some kings and cohos. Just some last minute reminders to all those attending.
