I just wanted to send out our congratulations from all of us at SC Nation to Tommy and Jolene on tying the knot. What a beautiful sunset in the background! Chinger was kind enough to post some photos of the service and the afterparty. You can check them out over at the forum by clicking here. We wish you the best of health, luck and success on your new marriage. If you guys see them on the forum wish them the best. It looks like the wedding was a great time. Now you two need to get back to the river for the late runs of kings and steelhead!

Just got an on-river report that a major push of kings just entered the lower river.

The kings are now running steady in the Salmon River. There is rain forecast for the entire week and it may pay off for those making the trip up this week/weekend. This water may be just the ticket to bring the streams up a tad and even raise the river a bit. In the past two days the river has risen from 135CFS to 162CFS. It looks as if cooler temps are also coming starting this evening. The DSR has been reporting constant fish entering down low and there should be good numbers from top to bottom.

Based off of the reports that have been pouring into SC the last few days and seeing the DSR reports I would have to say that the kings are running pretty well right now. It looks as if we are going to have a later run than normal and the hatchery will also be taking eggs later due in part to the temps, numbers and water conditions. ‘Gottum’ is reporting better numbers at the hatchery which also makes me think we are in full swing now. The rippers are out in force, so do you best to educate your fellow fisherman on the SR this weekend. I will be up in my usual spot if anyone wants to stop and say hi.
Our numbers this season are plain ridicilous and I will update you all as the season progresses. We can still use a hell of a rain storm so continue to do your dances.

Well I was hoping based off of the lack of updates to the Flowcast, but it looks like we are at 100CFS till next Monday. The current 5-day forecast has us high and dry till Sunday. Looks like colder nights by the time Sunday rolls around. Well we need to make the best of things. The DSR has reported back-to-back great days for kings and ‘hos. One can only assume that the fish are getting antsy to make thier run. Although it may be a zoo this weekend, the fishing will probably be better than last. Head over to the forums to check out some low water techniques. A hat order is in the near future as I am just wrapping up discussion with a new vendor. I will keep you posted.
