We haven’t had an update from the lower river yet this morning, but last night they were reporting the best day this season with a mix of kings, cohos, browns and chrome.
We then got word this am from Fish N Magician (Scott) from Tinker Tavern Lodge that is was raining cats and dogs. The radar has a large storm passing through the area which has already made the river jump on the pineville gauge. Our ‘On the River’ Coorespondents ‘Snagger’ and ‘Duckmeat’ have been locked tight to fish all morning mid-river. Check out the sweet photo of some early September chrome from ‘Snagger’ via a mobile report.
All in all its shaping up to be a good weekend on the Salmon River. If I get any more mobile reports or word from down below I will make sure to update SC Nation.
Try to stay sane after this report at your keyboards fellas, I am feeling your pain too. I will be there at o’ dark thirty Friday am and can’t wait!
