Kings Starting To Show – ‘Carpy’ Reports

More of the same to report today. Our longtime member Carpy got case of insomnia last night and headed to the SR i nthe early am to fish for some early kings… It looks like he was rewarded!

Here’s an excerpt from his report.

Decided to head for the river. Was on the rock above the bridge in town by 6:15. Not much going on at first, then saw about 12-13 fish busting up through. Hooked one that I never got a look at. It just turned and headed downstream and about had me into my backing when I broke it off. Fought like a king. My first hook up of the season. Had one more snag that turned out to be a fish and it turned and went down and was off in all of 3 seconds. Those were my only two hook ups. I had the whole section to myself this morning. Not used to that. It really forked with my ADD. Should I fish here, two casts, no over there, get over there two casts and realize I need to be over there, no I need to go back to where I started. If i’d have stood still I’d have probably gotten a few more hook ups, but, I couldn’t….lol
